Marc Schifanelli came to the law profession after a long career in the U.S. Army as an unconventional warfare expert. He served as an NCO and Officer in some of the Army's toughest outfits, including the 82nd Airborne Division and U.S. Army Special Forces. He has lived and worked overseas and in challenging environments. As a leader in SF, his recipe for mission success was based on three principles: integrity, dedication, and competence. He continues to live by these principles as an attorney and an advocate representing his clients in diverse and complicated matters, including immigration law, criminal law, and FINRA arbitration. Marc has successfully represented clients in complicated immigration matters, criminal cases, and in FINRA arbitration matters involving broker fraud, broker negligence, violations by investment firms of their fiduciary duties related to securities and investment. He has represented disabled veterans pro bono by volunteering as an attorney with the Veteran's Consortium in Washington, D.C.
Marc earned his Bachelor's Degree in Government and Politics, graduating with Honors magna cum laude from the University of Maryland at College Park, Maryland. He subsequently earned his Law Degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.
He is a member of the Maryland and West Virginia State Bars; the District of Columbia bar; the Federal Bars for the Federal Districts of Maryland and Washington, D.C., and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Fourth Circuit.
Languages: Spanish and working knowledge of German, French, and Serbo-Croatian.

Gordana Schifanelli began her practice of law after a successful career as a registered Financial Advisor and portfolio manager with Merrill Lynch and Royal Bank of Canada. Gordana tackles legal matters involving complex business and property issues, including representation of financial industry customers and investors in FINRA arbitration matters involving broker fraud, broker negligence, and violations by investment firms of their fiduciary duties related to securities and investment. She also represents clients in family matters, providing comprehensive solutions in divorce, child custody, child support and spousal support cases. Her knowledge of wills, trusts, and estates is complemented by her experience in the financial industry. Gordana has a reputation as a tough and honest litigator. She is also an adjunct professor of Finance and Law and Economics at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Maryland's University of Baltimore School of Law, and her Master's of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and holds her Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
